VINEYARDS

This wine comes from a small vineyard in
Navarrete, in La Rioja, Spain with a total of 1.480 vines.
Planted in 2014. Red clay and iron soil on alluvial subsoil.
550 m of altitude. E-W oriented. Organic farming The vintage 2023 was dry until September, when the rain arrived and the harvest was earlier than ever. The wines are easy drinking.

Hand picking in 18 kg crates.
Destemmed, not crushed.
Spontaneous fermentation in 1.000L open vats
Daily cap management
Malolactic fermentation and 12 months of aging in older oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES
Deep cherry red colour
Mineral and spicy hints on the nose that, as the wine opens,
reveal aromas reminding the grape variety.
Elegant on the palate, lively, with great flavour and silky tannins.
