Maturana
A descendant of Cabernet Franc, Maturana Tinta retains those aromas that Elena savours during every tasting she conducts before harvest, when the grapes are ripe. "In Maturana, I look for freshness, not too much alcohol, and wines that are easy to drink and enjoyable over time."
The clay jar lets you taste the pure grape and greatly rounds out the mouthfeel, while wood always imparts a specific flavour to the wine and adds more sweetness. The differences are well-proven and open up new possibilities, simultaneously adding value to local varieties. We're fortunate that diversity, purity, and authenticity are now in demand. Not to mention its potential in the face of climate change, as we are increasingly seeing wines with higher alcohol content, and the clay jar helps balance those levels with the freshness of the fruit

FERMENTADO EN TINAJA
This wine is fermented and aged in a clay jar from Navarrete.
The clay jar preserves the authentic aromas of the grape, and on the palate, it creates a fresh, rounded, and flavorful wine.

TIERRA ROJA, VITICULTURA ECOLÓGICA
The vineyards are my mother’s legacy, located in the area of Las Encinillas in Navarrete, home to the red clay soil that gives life to our famous pottery." In 2014, I planted the Maturana Tinta variety, also known as Navarreteña.
The estate is certified organic.
