This joint venture aims to preserve a legacy of vineyards, wines, and family.
Cousins Sandra Corzana and Elena Corzana aim to secure the future of the family vineyards and winery, Pérez de Urrecho, in Galbárruli with this project.
WHOLE BUNCHES
Hand-harvested and always with family, the grapes arrive at the winery and are placed directly into vats, without destemming. The initial fermentation is intracellular, triggering an explosion of authentic varietal aromas of Tempranillo.
It remains in barrels and 500L casks for 9 months
OCHRE EARTH
Los Montes Obarenes son una extensión de la Sierra Cantabria, con un contenido variable de areniscas, sobre todo calcáreas.
The orientation and an altitude of up to 700m make this a cool area with high vine health, thanks to the constant wind.
TEMPRANILLO
Tempranillo, native to Rioja, is the variety best adapted to this terroir, where it achieves full ripeness while maintaining good acidity levels.
Its characteristic notes include forest fruits and liquorice.
